Updates and lots of pictures!

Sorry about the really long post, but a lot has happened over the last couple weeks and I need to catch up.

  • Well, first of all, Cory and I decided that we would kill off the grass in our backyard this year and redo the whole thing. We are going to put in a patio and flower beds and trees. It will be nice when it is finished, but the prep work is hard work. I forgot to take a picture of our dead lawn, but here is Cory power raking (the 3rd time over).

  • A couple of weeks ago, we went and walked down Main Street in Bountiful to see the sidewalk chalk art. There are some amzing pictures. I can't believe it is all done in chalk! Here are a few of my favorites.
  • Last week, Parker had his 9 month appointment and he is doing great. He is in the 85% for length and 50% for weight. His weight is dropping off a little, but that is probably because he is so in credibly active. He still gags until he throws up anything with a texture, but the dr. said to give it a couple months to see if it goes away. I can't believe he is 9 months and getting more cute and fun all the time!
  • Last Thursday, we went down to St. George with awesome friends and had a great time relaxing by the pool and in the condo. It was Parker's first time in the pool and he loved it! Thanks again for the invite and the good times! We love you guys. Here are some pictures. (Thanks Mandi for letting me copy from your blog!)

Madi and Parker in the stroller after a walk. (Parker loves Madi! I agree that she will be an awesome big sister!)

Dave getting Parker hooked on Mountain Dew.

Parker loved Daddy's popsicle!

Parker and Cory in the pool with Dave and Madi. (Parker loves to splash!)

When boys get together, they always have to come up with some kind of competition. They spent most of their time in the pool attempting to land on tubes from the slide. They entertained everybody at the pool.

  • Finally, my family got together on Memorial Day for food and fun. the boys decided to set up the swing set my parents just got and the grandkids had a blast playing on the pieces! (By the way, the swingset is not finished. It is a giant jigsaw puzzle, and one of the main pieces had to be redone because it was connected wrong :)) Quite entertaining overall!
